Support
Get Sleep Mask playing, restore Adaptive Masking, or change where your iPhone sends audio. The app works offline and does not require an account.
Common questions
I can't hear any sound
Tap Start sound, then raise both Sleep Mask's volume slider and your iPhone's system volume. If headphones, a speaker, or AirPlay were connected recently, open Control Center and confirm the audio destination you want.
Adaptive Masking won't turn on
Adaptive Masking needs microphone access. Open Settings, choose Apps, then Sleep Mask, and enable Microphone. Return to Sleep Mask and turn Adaptive Masking on again. Regular noise playback still works with the microphone off.
How do I use AirPods, Bluetooth, or AirPlay?
Sleep Mask follows the audio route selected by iOS. Open Control Center, tap the AirPlay button in the Now Playing panel, and choose your headphones or speaker. The app does not override your system audio choice.
What happens when the sleep timer ends?
Playback stops when the countdown reaches zero. Cancel the timer from the Schedule section if you want the sound to continue.
Does Sleep Mask record my room?
No. When Adaptive Masking is enabled, Sleep Mask briefly samples the room about every 15 seconds, analyzes that sample on your device, and immediately discards it. Audio is never saved or transmitted.
Still need help?
Include your iPhone model, iOS version, what you expected, and the steps that reproduce the problem. A screenshot is helpful. Please do not send microphone recordings or other private bedroom audio.
